Viva Amore participates in Brides Across America, a nationwide charity dedicated to providing free wedding gowns for military brides. Viva Amore is pleased to reward the military personnel who have served in Iraq, Afghanistan, or whose fiancé’s are on active duty in these areas with these special events a few times per year.

If you would like to donate a dress to these brave women please call and or stop by to make you donation. You will receive a tax write off your donating your dress.

How do you qualify to receive a free dress?

To qualify, brides must be engaged, be on active duty in the military, or have a fiancé on active duty in either Iraq or Afghanistan.  All military brides must show ID, copy of deployment papers, orders or other qualifying proof. Brides do not have to reside in the area where the giveaway is taking place. Each event has limited amounts of gowns and the event is on a first come first serve basis.

Why do we do this?

The women of Viva Amore feel this charity close to their heart because their son/brother is a Marine and was deployed for a while and is currently a local firefighter. They wanted to do something to support military wives and their husbands for sacrificing their lives for our benefit.

Kudos  to all the other businesses who participated in the inaugural event at Viva Amore and made it a community event!
